Walk/ Run for Little Readers 2024

Join ROR GNY and the Walk/Run for Little Readers team at the Change the World NYC 5K on Saturday, June 8, 2024! This Manhattan-based run is a fun day for the whole family. All ages are welcome to participate to walk or run the scenic Hudson River Greenway Course. 

Start Point: Pier 46 at Hudson River Park (near Bank St)

Race Loop: Pier 57 (near W. 17 St)

Finish Line: Pier 46 at Hudson River Park (near Bank St)

Distance: 1 lap of the course is 1.55 miles and 2 laps of the course is 5K

The Walk/Run for Little Readers team raises essential funds each year to enable ROR GNY to supply more free books to more kiddos throughout NYC. And when you run, the race organizers will also plant a tree at One Tree Planted on your behalf in honor of World Environment Day on June 8. How great is that?!

Wave A: 7:30 AM
Wave B: 8:30 AM
Wave C:  9:00 AM
