Donor-Advised Funds (DAFs)
If you have a donor-advised fund (DAF), you can recommend a grant directly from your fund to support our mission. It’s simple, flexible, and often one of the most tax-efficient ways to give. Consult your financial advisor to learn more, or use DAFDirect to locate your donor-advised fund today!

Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCDs)
Are you 70½ or older? You can make a tax-free gift from your IRA directly to our organization. A QCD can satisfy your required minimum distribution (RMD) and reduce your taxable income. Visit IRS.gov or consult your financial advisor to learn more.

Gifts of Stock & Securities
Donating appreciated securities (stocks, bonds, or mutual funds) can provide significant tax benefits, allowing you to avoid capital gains taxes and receive a charitable deduction for the full fair market value. Learn more through your trusted financial advisors.

Employer Matching Gifts
Double or even triple your impact! Many employers match charitable gifts made by their employees. Check with your company to see if your contribution is eligible, or search online with Charity Navigator’s free tool.

Legacy & Planned Giving
Leave a lasting legacy by including Reach Out & Read of Greater NY in your estate plans. Planned gifts ensure your values continue to make an impact for generations to come! Consult your trusted financial advisor to learn more.
