2026 Annual Conference- Beyond the Prescription: Creating Welcoming Clinics Through Literacy and Connection!

This virtual conference explores how clinics can go beyond care by becoming welcoming spaces that support families and build stronger, more connected communities. Panels include Maximizing the Impact of Reach Out and Read Literacy Promotion, Supporting Immigrant Families Through Trusted Resources, and Clinics as Community Hubs.

2025 Annual Conference- Building Bonds: Early Relational Health

This virtual conference features keynote speaker Dr. Junlei Li, expert panels, and practical strategies to integrate literacy and relational health into pediatric care. We’ll dive into how literacy and strong relationships can transform pediatric care and promote family well-being.

The 2022 Annual Conference: Supporting Mental Well-Being featured expert speakers addressing the intersection of literacy, mental health, and community support. The sessions explored innovative approaches to fostering resilience in children and families, with a focus on integrating mental well-being into early literacy initiatives.

Reach Out and Read Zero to Five Months

This video will introduce you to delivering the Reach Out and Read model from the first visit on. Providers from across Reach Out and Read demonstrate when, how and why to deliver the program from birth.

Telehealth Resources

Many people don’t understand how telemedicine can be used to deliver quality healthcare at a distance. In this video, we show you a nurse and patient at one end of the videoconference and the doctor in her office at the other end. Telemedicine is cost-effective and convenient for both the patients and the physician. At GlobalMed, we train physicians and “presenters” (who are with the patient) how to use the equipment as well as best telemedicine practices.
