Reach Out and Read of Greater New York is pleased to host our annual conference, providing healthcare and community partners with insights, strategies, and research-driven approaches to support the continued impact of early literacy.
This year’s theme focuses on early relational health, with expert speakers and panelists sharing best practices for integrating literacy and relational health into pediatric care.

Keynote Speaker: Junlei Li, Ph.D.

His research emphasizes the power of simple, everyday interactions in fostering positive childhood development and resilience. Dr. Li will discuss how relationships shape early learning, well-being, and future success—and how healthcare professionals can support families in this critical area.

Together, we are making a significant stride to providing a book for every child and ensuring a brighter future for our city’s next generation of leaders and readers!

VIRTUAL READ ALOUDS
Join us as staff and volunteers read picture books for children ages 2-8 and their families on our Facebook page.
VIRTUAL PARENT AND CAREGIVER WORKSHOPS
Workshops are offered in English and Spanish via Zoom or Facebook Live. All workshops are recorded and posted on our Parents & Families section of our website, as well as our YouTube Channel.
Quarterly Town Halls for Reach Out and Read of Greater New York clinics and hospitals are held in August, November, March, and June. Town Halls are designed for existing Reach Out and Read of Greater New York medical providers to connect and learn from each other.
