About the Young Leaders Executive Board

Reach Out and Read of Greater New York’s Young Leaders Executive Board aims to engage the next generation of Reach Out and Read volunteers and supporters through the creation of events, a speaker series, and other opportunities to interact directly with Reach Out and Read programs. By cultivating relationships with a new generation of leaders, the Young Leaders raise awareness about Reach Out and Read of Greater New York and garner support for its mission and the thousands of children and families served by its program.

Trivia Night!

Trivia Night

On November 12th, our Young Leaders Board hosted a fun night of trivia in support of children’s literacy. The event took place at the Roger Smith Hotel in midtown.  Trivia was hosted by Quizmaster Noah Tarnow from The Big Quiz Thing with a winner-take-all lightning round for the top three teams. Guests enjoyed drink prizes throughout the night, free pizza for all, and, trophies for the winning team.

On February 19th, our Young Leaders Executive Board hosted a fantastic Winter Wine Tasting to spread awareness and raise funds to support Reach Out and Read of Greater New York.
