On Friday, October 30th, Reach Out and Read of Greater New York Program Director, Monique Hardin-Cordero, and Regional Program Coordinator, Luba Margai, attended a spooky story reading hosted at Boriken Neighborhood Health Center.

At the event, both of our staff members read in the pediatric waiting room, as did Ricardo Concepcion, the center’s Outreach Coordinator.

The event also had Halloween-themed music in the background and apples were served as a healthy snack.
